On May 14th, Sciences Po Alumni UK will host an exceptional dinner-debate: “L’entente after Brexit”
Our guest speaker will be Vernon Bogdanor.
Vernon Bogdanor is a Research Professor at the Institute for Contemporary British History at King's College London and Professor of Politics at the New College of Humanities. He is also Emeritus Professor of Politics and Government at the University of Oxford.
In his research, Vernon Bogdanor explores the ever-changing relationship between the United Kingdom and Europe, from 1945 to Euroscepticism and Brexit. Following the British decision to leave the European, Vernon Bogdanor analyses its consequences on the Westminster constitutional system and presents Brexit as an opportunity for the United Kingdom to adopt a written constitution.
He recently published a book, "Beyond Brexit: Towards a British Constitution (2019)".
The dinner at Le Colombier will consist in starter, main and dessert, and wines.
