Sciences Po’s links to London have always been strong. In 1895, Sidney and Beatrice Webb used the Sciences Po curriculum as part of their inspiration for creating the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which has now become one of Sciences Po’s closest partners.

The Sciences Po Alumni UK Association was founded in the 1950s by Assia de Juniac and is part of the Association des Sciences Po in Paris.

Our aim is to contribute to Sciences Po's exposure and fundraising while creating a special atmosphere within the Alumni and student network.

Today, the Sciences Po Alumni UK network reaches more than 1,000 alumni/students and organises regular events such as conferences in partnership with the French Embassy, dinner-debates with prominent Sciences Po alumni (e.g. H.E. Sylvie Bermann, Gilles Kepel, Laurent Bigorgne, Laetitia Strauch-Bonnart) and other personalities (e.g. Peter Neumann).

We work closely with other Alumni networks in the UK, and are members of the French Chamber of Great Britain.

Every year a Gala is organised to raise funds for the SciencesPo Alumni UK Charity Trust, to help advance education at Sciences Po. During the evening, scolarships are attributed to exceptional students in the presence of Frédéric Mion, Director of Sciences Po.
